BSA B33
Overhead
valve 500cc single cylinder. Restored 2001. 12v conversion
2002. Still running in. A nice bike with updated brakes
and some gold star engine internals. Good handling and performance.
Still missing correct centre stand, side stand and engine
sprocket - if anyone can provide these as part payment for
their holiday! |
1951
- BSA
MZ21
Side
valve 600cc single cylinder, un-restored and original. This
bike is the dinosaur of the collection, with tremendous
torque and a wide saddle seat. Not to be hurried! |

1957
Norton model 50
Overhead
valve 600cc single cylinder. Still being restored, totally
original. Purchased from a farmer near Wadebridge who
had used it for many years as transport across the farm
to his private surfing beach. Bought from Blackwater garage
in 1969 for £25.

1956
AJS Model 18
Overhead
valve 500cc single cylinder. Un-restored and mostly original.
A good bike with plenty of torque. Brakes and handling are
an acquired taste, but engine braking is tremendous. A very
pleasant ride and many people's favourite. |

1961
Matchless G80
Overhead
valve 500cc single cylinder. Several modifications by the
previous owner makes this rather a hooligan bike. Very low
seat height, very loud exhaust and an engine that fires
at every lamp-post. Great fun to ride, though not for long
periods due to lack of seat padding! |
1960
Matchless G3
Overhead
valve 350cc single cylinder.
Un-restored and original.
Dutch Army bike with single seat and coil ignition.
A good reliable bike, comfortable to ride and easy to start. |

1967
Triumph Tiger 90
Overhead
valve 350cc twin cylinder. Partially restored but needs
a lot of further work. Good handling and easy starting with
recently up rated brakes. Many parts are still required,
such as centre stand, rear light assembly, chain guard and
correct top yoke - can anybody provide these as part payment
of their holiday? |
1964
Norton
Dominator
Overhead
valve 600cc twin cylinder.
Partially
restored in 1999.
New
engine, still being run-in.
Not
for general use as a result. |

1973
Triumph Tiger 100P
Overhead
valve 500cc twin cylinder.
Restored by previous owner in 1990, some minor restoration
required again now. Good handling, ample power, very effective
TLS front brake. |
1971
Norton Commando 750
Roadster
MKII
My
own bike, purchased in 1976 for £360. Written
off in major accident in 1979 and rebuilt in 1985. |
