classic bike club @ waterloo farm

You may think it impossible to turn back the clock and enjoy motorcycling as it used to be in the 1950s and 1960s - but it is the experience we are offering here together with a delightful and relaxing venue for a family holiday.

Your visit can be tailored to suit your ability and experience

At present our 'stable' comprises of the following bikes:

enjoying the great views ^

More bikes are being added all the time, maybe an Ariel Red Hunter next! Although our motorcycles are by no means concours examples, they are in good rideable condition, properly serviced and regularly exhibited in local Classic events.

Complete novices will be able to handle, start and ride pillion on all of our machines. For those with more experience, but without a full motorcycle licence, short rides along a number of private roads and around a disused airfield are available.

Fully experienced riders can choose from a variety of accompanied tours of the area. The only charges involved are for a tour guide and running costs (generally. £15 an hour). Proof of your own insurance cover will be required. These tours generally utilize the more robust single cylinder machines.

The duration and route of the tours vary, from quite tricky drives along very twisty sections and breathtaking views at each corner, to relaxing rides through rolling countryside or beside the beaches - along some quite open roads.

In general the roads in this part of the country are quiet, and because you are accompanied, there is no possibility of getting lost or missing the best there is to see in the area, whatever your interests. In this way, these tours can be truly 'made-to-measure' using your local knowledge of the lesser known, unspoilt Cornwall that many visitors never see!

Please note that weekend breaks are available out of season, but the hourly rate for motorcycling is £30.

Although we can provide suitable protective clothing for the average sized rider, please bring your own if you possess any!
